RevOps Consulting was founded by Sue Platner.  Ms. Platner’s more than 30 years of leadership and management in the telecommunications industry uniquely position her as a trusted advisor and business resource for the firm’s clients and resources. Her unique blend of executive, management and technical experience ensures delivery of best solutions with strong focus on expected outcomes and measurable results.  With an ability to simplify volumes of complex data, Ms. Platner has developed solutions that are invaluable to service provider clients who want to manage their profitability.  She is actively involved in the delivery of the company’s consulting engagements.

Ms. Platner’s extensive knowledge of the communications segment comes from a broad range of experience:

Sue was previously President and Co-Founder of The Northridge Group, an Illinois-based voice, data and wireless communications consulting firm. There, Ms. Platner led the Service Provider practice area, and more recently directed the firm’s American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Broadband initiatives. In 2008, Ms. Platner, along with her business partner, was inaugurated into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in recognition of The Northridge Group’s success as a profitable company.

Prior to The Northridge Group, Ms. Platner advised service providers undergoing telecommunications liberalization and reform in the United States, Europe, Russia and Mexico.  She led business and operations planning and implementation on behalf of competitive local exchange carriers in their efforts to enter the local telecommunications market in the United States and abroad.

During 17 years at Ameritech, Ms. Platner was Vice President of Small Business Services, responsible for customer service operations and service for more than one million business customers in the company’s five-state territory.  Ms. Platner also held the position of Vice President of Ameritech Long Distance Industry Services, charged with managing Ameritech’s $2 billion wholesale interexchange access product line.  Sue drove operations improvements in Ameritech’s installation process, and led development and implementation of Ameritech’s 800 number portability and Signaling System 7 technology programs.

She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
